A mother and three young children have died in a crash on the A40 in Oxfordshire.
A people carrier and a lorry collided near a railway overbridge on the A40 between Oxford and Cassington on Monday evening. The mother, Zoe Powell, 29 died at the scene along with her 8, 6 and 4-year-old daughters. Their father, Josh, 30, and 18-month-old daughter were critically injured and were rescued by Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue service alongside paramedics.
The driver of the lorry, 56-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and is helping officers with the investigation. No arrests have been made; Thames Valley police have said.
