Sports Round Up 21/10/20

Last night kicked off the first games of the Champions’ League group stage, in what would ultimately be a mixed bag for British teams. Chelsea hosted Sevilla in a goalless draw where Chelsea’s defence looked much better, but their attack continued to look like they needed time to improve.

Meanwhile, Manchester United managed to repeat some of the magic of their match two seasons ago against PSG. This time they managed to win 2-1, as Marcus Rashford scored a late goal, just as he did last time the teams faced each other.

Today, Liverpool will take on Ajax without defender Virgil Van Dijk, who is out for the rest of the season with an ACL injury. While Manchester City will face Porto in what should be easy game.
