Protests again SARS brutality across London

Protests across Nigeria, Ghana and London came after weeks of online outcry of police brutality by a police unit known as SARS (Special Anti Robbery Squad) in Nigeria. 

Celebrities such as Kanye West, John Boyega and WizKid have taken part in demonstrations among thousand of young Nigerians. Hashtag ‘END SARS’ has been used online to expose the kidnappings, harassment and abuse SARS have committed for years without any punishment. 

On Monday, president of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari, promised that the disbandment of SARS was only the first step towards "extensive" reforms within the police force.
