Piers Morgan Faces Backlash After Transphobic Comments

A petition to get Piers Morgan removed from his position on Good Morning Britain has been trending on Twitter.

The presenter has been facing public backlash after hate speech which targeted the transgender community.

Network ITV launched a Twitter poll asking if Morgan should be fired for his views on gender, hoping to prove the public still supported him. This move ended up backfiring, however, with 58% of respondents wanting him gone.

As the social media debate continues, Good Morning Britain have yet to take any decisive action against stupid, stupid, Morgan.
