Nicola Sturgeon to announce new restrictions across Scotland

One woman interviewed said that she was actively involved in politics, and most people interved said that they at least vote. False promises were the leading reason for people not wanting to be involved in politics.

Nicola Sturgeon is to reveal new lockdown measures in a speech to Scottish Parliament at 2:50 today. Ms Sturgeon has already indicated that Scotland will not return to full lockdown, at least for now.

These new rules are thought to be a reactive measure, as COVID19 cases in the central region of Scotland, as well as in areas such as Clyde, Lankarshire, Lothian and Forth Valley, have recently surged.

Scotland continues to record an average of 730 new cases every day, an increase over the average of 285 recorded 2 weeks ago. The number of people dying or being treated in hospital also continues to increase.

A further 14,542 COVID19 cases were recorded across the UK this Tuesday.
