In collaboration with the Global Street Art Project, Mr Doodle covered over 43 million square inches of Wembley with his doodles.
Sam Cox is a 24 year old street artist who goes by the name Mr. Doodle. He's amassed over 1.9 million instagram followers, traveling worldwide from Tokyo to Mexico, leaving his doodles as he goes. He has also collaborated with brands including MTV and Adidas.
His artistry began as a child when he would doodle on his family’s furniture, which has since evolved into a career as a world renowned street artist. He describes himself as having OCD: Obsessive Compulsive Drawing.
Inspired by the Wembley community, Mr Doodle wanted to draw characters that directly represent the area. Among the sea of doodles you'll find footballers, referees, and even some of the iconic singers that have graced Wembley Stadiums stage.
The Wembley Park Street Art Project is going to be taking place over the next year with various artists from around the world coming to leave their mark. Their goal is to transform the area into a creative and hip new hot spot.
Mr Doodle is now the first of the many artists that will be transforming the area. His work stretches over 7 pillars and 12 cinder blocks.
