Some of the top supermarkets in the country including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Lidl, Aldi, Tesco and Iceland, have recalled several products and advised customers to not eat the items. After it was found that some allergens were not included on the ingredients list and those others should not be consumed.
Here is the list of the products that are being recalled:
· Nutricia Aptamil Multigrain Banana and Berry Cereal - contains small pieces of blue plastic
· Lidl Meatballs - contains milk which is not on the label
· Twix Ice Cream Bars - contains milk, soy and gluten which are not on the label
· Waitrose Goat’s Cheese – may contain Listeria monocytogenes.
· Waitrose Halloumi - contains milk which is not on the label
· Sainsbury’s Mussels – salmonella
· Roosters Southern Fried and Breaded Chicken – salmonella
· Waitrose Milk Chocolate - contains nuts and soya which are not on the label
· Lidl GB Simply Mature White Cheddar - contains small pieces of plastic
· Waitrose Pork and Chorizo Burgers – contain egg which is not on the label
· Lidl Sweeteners - contains aspartame which is not on the label
· Iceland Fruit Sherberts - contains milk which is not on the label
· Iceland Chicken Breast Toppers - salmonella
· Lidl Dark chocolate - salmonella
