High demand in Ealing food banks

Yesterday, Ealing council donates up to £73,000 worth of food to local charities, with £62,000 going to food banks.

During the lockdown, the local community of Ealing came together to support the most vulnerable.

The council is working closely with Ealing community transport, which delivered 13,810 food parcels to many homes.

With Furlough coming to an end, we will see more of an increase in food banks. Right now, is a challenging time for us all.

If you need help or support, please contact your nearest food bank or council.
