The Met Office and Environment Agency have issued over 100 flood warnings for the UK this week, as heavy rain and blizzards batter the country, threatening to burst riverbanks and cause danger to life.
This week over 500 homes have been flooded in Doncaster with an additional 1,000 evacuated.
Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson is visiting areas submerged by the floods, and is calling for a national emergency to be declared.
The prime minister will chair a meeting of the government's emergency committee later as parts of the UK deal with the aftermath of severe flooding.
