The number of assault allegations being investigated regarding Kevin Spacey’s assault allegations has risen from four to seven.
The most recent allegations reportedly occurred in Westminster in 1996, Lambeth in 2008 and Gloucester in 2013. This means that of the seven allegations, six have taken place in the United Kingdom, all regarding sexual assault. In Los Angeles, police are also investigating a man’s claim that the actor attacked him in 1992.
Actor Anthony Rapp made the allegations against the Oscar winning actor public in 2017, after he came forwards in an article posted to Buzzfeed. In the article, Rapp spoke about how Spacey made sexual advances on him when he was 14 and Spacey was 26.
As a result of the investigations, the actor was replaced in the film All The Money in the World by Christopher Plummer, and removed from his position in the Netflix drama House of Cards.
