Bakerloo Line Extension Calls for Public to Name Stations

Due to the ongoing extended of the Bakerloo line, Transport For London (TFL) have turned to the public for help naming the two new stations.

The first station, which is situated on the corner of Dunton Road, may possibly be called either ‘Old Kent Road’ or ‘Burgess Park’. Although the second station, ‘Old Park Road’ is still a possibility for the name, with the second suggestion from TfL being, ‘Asylum’.

These names aren’t set in stone, however.

TfL are appealing for members of the public who have a better suggestion to head over to the TfL website before the 22nd of December in order to submit an original name, or to cast your vote for the prior names.
