Eighteen year old is sentenced to life after stabbing a man to death in Uxbridge

Hakim Sillah was murdered at a Knife Awareness Course at Hillingdon Civic Centre on November 7th last year.

His attacker, Vladimir Nachev was sentenced to a minimum term of 18 years after using a 25cm long ‘Rambo’ style knife to kill the victim. Sillah's family described the attack as unprovoked, brutal, and purely malicious.

Nachev stabbed Sillah twice in the chest. The victim was given emergency treatment at the murder scene but died later that day at the hospital. Sillah's case continues to underline London increasing problems with knife crimes.
