12 year old gunned down in a drive by shooting

Stephen Dunford a 25 year man has been handed three concurrent life sentences with a minimum period of 19 years to serve at Sheffield crown court. This was after seriously injuring a 12 year old boy in a drive by shooting.

The incident took place when the boy and a group of friends were on their way to a fun park in January of this year a white car slowly approached them containing five men wearing hoodies and balaclavas. The 12 year old boy was shot in his thigh, he was able to make his way home however, doctors have been unable to remove the bullet which was logged in his thigh.

The boy identified the shooter, Dunford.
